“THE CHOSEN” is back!
“The Chosen” is back! Please join Tom and Sherry Janowski for Season 5 of The Chosen! This season will depict part of Holy Week, but does not yet get into the crucifixion. Viewing, discussion and study (with popcorn) will begin Sunday evening, September 14, at 6 pm, and run each Sunday evening for eight weeks. No need to have watched prior episodes, but talk to Tom or Sherry if you would like to know how to access any of the earlier seasons online.
CONTINENTAL YOUTH GATHERING
The NALC Continental Youth Gathering (CYG) 2026 will take place July 7 – 10 at St. John Lutheran Church in Roanoke, Virginia. This four-day gathering will bring together youth from across the North American Lutheran Church to grow in faith, build lasting relationships, and experience what it means to REJOICE as the Body of Christ. Through worship, teaching, service, and shared community, students will be encouraged and equipped in their walk with Christ.
FALL KICK OFF - Exciting Things are Happening!
Everyone is invited to join us after church in the basement for food and other goodies as we celebrate the beginning of the Fall Season, on Sunday, September 14, following worship! As the Summer heat winds down, we are gearing up for our Kids for Christ Sunday School, Confirmation, Choirs, and more. Come join in the Fellowship and help us get excited for the new season! If you would like to bring food or snacks, there is a sign-up sheet in the back of the church!
TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) CLUB INC meets every Thursday at 5:00pm
Come join us at First Lutheran Church in Paxton, 301 S. College Street. Our TOPS Club Inc meeting starts at 4:30pm.
